Employees as I’ve stated are the spine of a business, but in a business like Tesco who’s main aim is to make profits, employees become more vital than ever to Tesco aims and objectives. This is because they will be relied on to achieve said aims and objectives, for example if Tesco aimed to increase they profit margin by 4% within a 6 month timeline they will need their employees to increase productivity by motivating them, they may also need employees to deal with customers as effectively and nicely as they can to perhaps improve their reputation and gain ‘free’ advertisement through word of mouth and achieve further revenue from sales as a result. As you can see whatever Tesco want to achieve, employees are the key to making it happen, making them one of the most important stakeholders Tesco have.
