Fishing is an important resource for people to do because it can be a family activity to do. Getting bait and hooks are important resources needed to be a successful fisherman?
Baits
Some baits used for fishing are grasshoppers, crawfish, bread, chicken, corn, raw bacon, cheese, and hot dogs. Worms that are 2-3 inches long help to catch salmon. Grasshoppers are used to catch perch and trout. Cheese especially Limburger are really helpful in catching catfish. Minnows are helpful in catching perch, trout, catfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, muskellunge or muskie, and northern pike.

Hooks

There are lots of kinds of hooks to catch fish but the main hook is the J hook. Some other hooks are bait hooks, circle hooks, treble hooks, siwash hooks, Aberdeen hooks, octopus hooks, worm hooks, and jig hooks. Treble hooks catch these kinds of fish catfish, salmon, and trout. Aberdeen hooks catch crappie. Octopus hooks catch leech and other sucking fish. The jig hook-like to catch stripers and muskies.

Different fish

Some different kinds of fish in Iowa are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, walleye, and channel catfish. Some different kinds of fish in Michigan are Atlantic Salmon. Bass (largemouth) Bass (smallmouth) Brook Trout. Brown Trout. Catfish and Bullheads Common Carp and Suckers Chinook Salmon Coho Salmon Crappie. The most common fish in the sea is the minnow. There are about 50 different species of trout.
